Marguerite Joly is Head of New Business Initiatives at Ullstein Publishing in Berlin. She leads lean-publishing e-imprints “Midnight” and “Forever” as well as  backlist e-imprint “ReFinery”; she has brought U.S. digital galley platform NetGalley to Germany as netgalley.de and is currently directing it; she has created #Herzenstage, a web-community-based festival for romance literature; and is currently internationalising Ullstein’s web reader-community vorablesen.de which she also helms into the UK anFotosd US markets. In previous work, Ms. Joly lead development and marketing of digital publishing initiatives at epubli GmbH, and at txtr GmbH as well as projects intersectioning between the creative industries and the digital.
