Joerg Rheinboldt is founding CEO of the new Axel Springer Porsche Accelerator that started in March 2018. Before this Joerg was CEO of Axel Springer Plug and Play beginning in 2013. Axel Springer Plug and Play have invested in 103 companies with digital, customer-centric business models over the past five years.

Joerg started his first company Denkwerk while studying business administration in Cologne in 1994. In 1999 he co-founded alando.de AG, bought by ebay Inc. six months later. For five years Joerg helped to build ebay in Germany and then started business angel investments. In 2007 Joerg co-founded betterplace.org. Joerg is active board member at several companies and on the entrepreneurial board of WHU, ESCP and Zeppelin universities. He co-authored the book “Simply Seven” about online business models, and he helped to bring TEDx to Germany.
